PiChain Global has launched a significant update to its PCM Wallet, introducing passkey authentication to enhance security and simplify access. This new feature removes the need for complex passwords, enabling users to log in using biometrics or device PINs—aligning with industry standards established by tech giants like Apple, Google, and Microsoft.

The adoption of passkeys mitigates risks such as phishing and keylogging by utilizing device-stored encryption to protect digital assets. This upgrade comes as Pi Network’s mainnet activity increases, highlighting the need for robust security measures in a growing ecosystem.

PiChain Global, a decentralized e-commerce platform for PI cryptocurrency, is expanding the token’s real-world applications. The PCM Wallet, its native digital wallet, previously introduced features like muxed accounts and trading capabilities in March.
